How rude! Gosh, sorry to bring up such a cheesey show, but I had to....This woman has me in such a tizzy right now, I have to get this out...now!
Some background. She is not a friend of mine, never has been. She is the wife of one of my husband's friends. She is pregnant and due in a month. She knows everything. She is perfect.
Her and her hubby came over to visit us this afternoon. Upon her arrival, I had just woken up from a much needed nap. She walks in and scans my home that I will admit could use some cleaning, but just to give you an idea how much I needed to sleep, I left my breastmilk sitting out of the fridge by the pump--which means its spoiled!...anyways, she strolls in, perfect slender body with this perfect belly.
She doesn't ask me how I am doing, how I have healed or anything like that. She informs me that she is birthing naturally. And that if had 'stuck it out' pain wise, that I wouldn't have needed a c-section. I told her that my baby never dropped fully, baby head was facing the wrong way and I never dilated pass 3cm...oh and the baby had distress....that is why I had a c-section.
I make a comment that I am able to get around, do housework, go for walks, etc., and she says S: You should be careful, if you never worked out before then you shouldn't start now.
WTF! I have NEVER worked out before! She doesn't know about my Taebo days!
Me: Wow, that was rude!
S: oh you know what I mean.
Me: No I don't.
S: ...yea...So are you getting out these days or are you just staying inside?
Me: We go to Walmart all the time actually (She hates and I mean HATES Walmart!)
No other word for her then bitch really. Then to her husband she says, 'oh Jeremy, we need to get home. I want to do some laundry, pick up some groceries and mow the lawn.'Ok, now she is showing off. She is 9 nine months pregnant. I told her to enjoy her sleep, take some time off to herself (which she informed me she didn't need!). Get out of my dirty house!
I wish her well. I hope breastfeeding is a breeze, she labours well and she bounces back within days. Just not around me--cuz she's a smoker--even while pregnant, won't quit while breastfeeding.

I know who you're talking about...I've met her in person. I must admit when I called her for the first time, I wasn't totally impressed with her; but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I went OUT of my WAY to get her contact information, and call her from ONTARIO and she was soooo snippy with me!
Me: "Hi, we're planning a surprise baby shower for Diane in July"
S: "But she isn't due until September! Why are you doing it in JULY!?"
Me: "Because that's how most people I know do it, and our Portuguese tradition calls for us to do it before the baby is born"
S: "OOOOOOOOOKKKKKay.... That's not the way I would have done it..."
Yeah-ha. I gave her the benefit of the doubt; but I really shouldn't have. I saw her in person, and she didn't even welcome me or say hello until I was introduced by your MIL.
She is a cow. A smoking cow at that!?!?! Doesn't she know all of the studies against that!?
Tough it out eh? Yeah...dilation to a full 10 cms is for wimps. Try and squeeze out a baby out of a full 3 cms you cow!!!
I hope you can sit there and be graciously smug after she delivers and realizes how ignorant she was. People like her only put down others to boost up their fragile egos.
For a small fee I will come over and snark her sorry little ass back under her rock. Bitch.
